RESIDENTS’ difficulties in making appointments with their GPs have prompted a booming business for a new health clinic in the town.
Connexus Health and Rehabilitation was officially opened in Center Park near the city center in a ceremony attended by Mayor of Warrington Cllr Maureen Creaghan.
Established in September 2020, Connexus Health began by providing high quality physical therapy and other rehabilitation solutions to individuals and businesses.
The newly renovated premises offer a relaxed and professional atmosphere designed to put customers at ease.
The company’s evolution towards occupational health is an important step as it expands its health offer and displays its ambitions to be a market leader in this field.

Jacqueline Wolahan, Commercial Director, said: “We have listened to our local customers and provide a range of services they have said they need, in one convenient location.
“Our range of personal health checks have proven to be very popular, as they provide access to tests that people are currently struggling to get from their GP due to backlogs.”
The clinic is open 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, offering a range of services including health checks, physiotherapy, counselling, CBT, drug and alcohol screenings and medical examinations for drivers taxis, trucks and buses.
Managing Director Ken Specter added, “We are grateful for the fantastic turnout at our official open house, which gave us the opportunity to showcase new investments in our clinic.
“Our plan for continued expansion now allows us to have six top-of-the-line consultation rooms, allowing us to offer an exceptional venue for our wellness services.”
