Meritus to expand mobile clinic for COVID injections and close mass site

Meritus Health, which has administered more than 106,000 COVID-19 vaccines, plans to expand its mobile clinic and close its mass vaccination operation at Robinwood Professional Center.

The Robinwood Clinic will close at the end of August.

Since December 2020, when the use of COVID vaccines was first authorized, Meritus has provided more than 106,000 vaccinations, the health system reported in a press release.

Beginning September 1, Meritus will expand its Mobile Immunization Clinic offerings for eligible patients ages 5 and older. The first, second and booster doses will be available at clinics in various locations.

Patients can use to locate a clinic near them.

Eligible children aged 6 months to 5 years can continue to receive COVID vaccines at Meritus After Hours Pediatrics, 186 Eastern Blvd., Hagerstown, during dedicated clinics. Dates and times can be found on the Meritus Health website. Appointments are required.

Adults and children who are patients of a Meritus primary care practice can also receive their vaccine (first dose, second dose or booster) by making an appointment at their doctor’s office.
