Miller: Prayers and protests will continue at Moorhead abortion clinic | New

(Moorhead MN-) Protesters followed a Moorhead abortion clinic across the river from Fargo, North Dakota. A small group gathered outside the new location of the Red River Women’s Clinic last Thursday to pray. The clinic plans to move soon to premises on block 300 of Highway 75 North. Fargo’s move was prompted by the United States Supreme Court’s decision overturning Roe v. Wade, who triggered a North Dakota law banning abortion. The ban is set to come into effect on August 26 after a lawsuit delayed its enactment. State Rep. Tim Miller is also the executive director of PLAM Action and says his group is leading a coalition of area citizens and churches to stop the clinic from opening at its new location…

… Miller says they plan to hold prayer services every Thursday. He legally admits that the Red River Women’s Clinic can go ahead and start aborting babies from day one, but Miller says the people of Moorhead should have a say…

… Miller says a business owner who has land across from the new clinic site has agreed to let protesters use it and they plan to hold a tent meeting there on Thursday, August 18.
