Clinic consultation

ChemoTech’s Scandinavian subsidiary, Vetiqure AB, signs an agreement with a German clinic AniCura to participate in a study

As previously communicated, Vetic AB and three of AniCura’s clinics have entered into a collaboration agreement regarding the treatment of TSEs in soft tissue sarcoma in dogs. This agreement is being updated with a clinic in Germany.

Due to the high workload at AniCura Animal Hospital Albano in stockholmwhich was one of the Swedish clinics that would have participated in the study, a mutual decision was made between the parties to move the study from that clinic.

As a replacement, Vetiqure, in consultation with AniCura, has identified Dr. Ramona Maier, one of the best-known oncologists in the group at the German clinic AniCura Kleintierzentrum Heilbronn. The dialogue between Vetic AB and Dr. Ramona have already started during the Company’s successful participation in ESVONC in Italy. The objective is to be able to start recruiting patients in Germany at the end of the fourth quarter. The agreement with the clinic also includes the purchase of TSE treatment kits for treatments not included in the study.

It is with great pleasure that I welcome Dr. Ramona Maier GPCert in Oncology at the AniCura Kleintierzentrum Heilbronn to the study. We met at ESVONC in Italy and Dr. Ramona will be a great asset for us in the study and for the continuation of the launch in Europe.” – says Elin Wallin Product Specialist at Vetic AB

“Vetiqure’s Tumor-Specific Electroporation (TSE) is a valuable adjunct for the local treatment of tumors. As veterinarians, we find it extremely useful. Especially in cases where surgery is hardly possible (or rather difficult).” – said the doctor Ramona Maierveterinarian – GPCert in oncology at AniCura Kleintierzentrum Heilbronn

The project continues to be managed by Leg. veterinarian Nanna Åkerlund Denneberg, specialist in oncology in dogs and cats, at the AniCura animal hospital in Jönköping. Also involved Leg. veterinary Marianne Jensen Mandelin; Specialist in small animal diseases with master’s degree in oncology – dog and cat, at AniCura Jeløy Veterinary clinic in Moss.
