OLD LYME — Ledge Light Health District has scheduled a COVID-19 Immunization Clinic for Monday, July 11 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Lymes’ Senior Center, 26 Town Woods Rd. in Old Lyme.
Only the Moderna vaccine will be available at this clinic for people aged 18 or over who need a 1st or 2nd dose or are eligible for a 1st or 2nd booster dose. This clinic is free and open to the public. No appointment, insurance or ID required. Bring your CDC vaccination record if you have one.
The following groups are eligible for a 1st reminder in this clinic:
- people 18 years and older who have completed a primary series of a COVID-19 mRNA vaccine (Moderna or Pfizer) and it has been at least 5 months since the end of the primary series
- people 18 years and older who have received a first dose of the Janssen COVID-19 vaccine and it’s been at least 2 months and want an mRNA booster
The following groups are eligible for a 2n/a reminder in this clinic:
- people 50 years and older who have received a first booster dose of any licensed or approved COVID-19 vaccine and it has been at least 4 months since the first booster dose
The CDC recommends that anyone 6 months and older get their first round of COVID-19 vaccines, and that anyone 5 and older also get a booster.
Another COVID-19 vaccination clinic will be held on Wednesday, July 13 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Ledyard Senior Center, 12 Van Tassel Drive, Gales Ferry.
