GoVirtual Clinic is a next-generation platform that includes a suite of solutions enabling healthcare professionals to conduct virtual appointments with patients while comprehensively managing patient care and related electronic health records. Just released, the first phase of the platform offers ways to seamlessly schedule and manage virtual testing appointments, order test kits, monitor online waiting rooms, perform virtual appointments and share test results with patients in real time.

Home testing is made easy with the GoVirtual Clinic, allowing patients to get tested on their own schedule without having to visit a doctor’s office, or even leave their homes. Patients simply book an appointment online, a test kit is delivered to their doorstep, and they log on for the scheduled appointment. A doctor or nurse will be on the other side of the computer screen and demonstrate exactly how to self-administer the test. The results will be revealed and recorded at the appointment, or the patient will send the sample to a lab, depending on the test.

“Home testing is a growing part of healthcare services and has become more accepted in recent years, especially as the pandemic has helped shine a light on its convenience,” said GoMeyra founder and chief executive. , Jaswant S. Tony. “However, since most patients are not trained in sample collection, mistakes can easily be made. Our platform offers healthcare professionals a solution to this problem with face-to-face virtual counseling, providing a much safer method for home testing that helps ensure patient samples are collected correctly.

According to a Deloitte Center for Health Solutions study, approximately one between one-third and one-half of consumers are comfortable using home diagnostics for various medical conditions. There are a growing number of self-administered and self-collected tests that can be performed remotely from home through GoVirtual Clinic, saving countless hours for labs, doctors’ offices and patients.

Once the GoVirtual Clinic rollout is complete by the end of 2022, it will be the most comprehensive cloud-based telehealth platform on the market for physicians and medical staff. Future phases of GoVirtual Clinic will expand the capabilities of the platform beyond testing to allow providers to virtually conduct a variety of routine appointments, as well as securely manage the patient care lifecycle from a portal, including reviewing and updating medical history; order prescriptions, labs and imaging; access test results; coordinated insurance; billing management, and more, all from a single interface solution.

“After hearing from many doctors we work with complaining about the state of technology available for telehealth needs, I decided that an all-in-one platform would be the next solution created by GoMeyra” , said Tony. “Our goal is to provide technology solutions to the healthcare industry that help keep medical practices running smoothly, which is exactly why I started the company.”

GoVirtual Clinic is fully integrated with GoMeyra LIMS, the company’s first software solution that provides laboratories, healthcare facilities and medical practices with an automated, customizable, cloud-based laboratory information management system for processing tests.
