A radiation clinic will be held at 11 a.m. Oct. 28 at Jackson State University’s Mississippi E-Center. The event is free for those who represent themselves.
The Expungement Clinic will be hosted by the Mississippi Volunteer Lawyers Project, Representative De’Keither Stamps, Mississippi Access to Justice Commission, Entergy Mississippi Legal Department, and law firms Butler Snow, Bradley Arant Boult & Cummings, Baker Donelson and Adams & Reese, a statement said.
Clinic attendees will receive legal advice and court documents prepared by licensed Mississippi attorneys, officials said.
“Individuals requesting expungement should bring a driver’s license or state-issued ID and copies of court documents,” officials said. “Documents required for those charged with a misdemeanor include a summary of court records and proof of payment of fines and city or court costs.
“Persons charged with a felony by a circuit court must provide copies of the indictment, capias, order of conviction or discharge, order of release on probation, and a proof of payment of fines and costs.”
