Join the Free Laugh Out Loud Comedy Fundraising Awareness Clinic

All funds from The Laugh Out Loud Comedy Show will go directly to patient care at the Outreach Free Clinic and Resource Center and will have an immense impact on so many in the community.

Looking for a good night of fun and laughter? Join the Outreach Free Clinic and Resource Center and comedian Mary Ellen DePetrillo in October for the comedy show Laugh Out Loud.

The Laugh Out Loud Comedy Show is held to raise funds for the Outreach Free Clinic and Resource Center in Brandon. The show will take place on Friday, October 7 from 6-10 p.m. at The Regent in Riverview. Individual tickets are $75, or a VIP table, which includes eight seats, can be purchased for $800.

Each ticket grants access to a dinner, live comedy show, cash bar, silent auction and more. This year, the star performer will be DePetrillo, the comedian, professional speaker and storyteller who will have you rolling in laughter.

The Outreach Free Clinic and Resource Center offers uninsured people a way to access quality health care. Many people who cannot afford health care live with life-threatening health conditions and rely on emergencies as primary care, or do not seek medical help at all. In order to prevent this, a group not only of nurses and doctors, but also of pharmacists, social workers, members of the clergy, lawyers and bankers mobilized in 1987 to help those in the Brandon who fell through the cracks and needed help.

“I was referred to the Outreach Free Clinic by the Hillsborough County Breast and Cervical Cancer Program. I had no insurance, no doctor, and I didn’t know where to turn. I received immediate attention to concerns that I had a lump on my breast and needed care. Turns out I tested positive for cancer,” said Outreach Free Clinic patient VC, “It was the caring and wonderful staff at the Outreach Clinic that put me on the path to the care and treatment I need for my chest. cancer. God bless us all.”

Today, those involved at the Outreach Free Clinic and Resource Center continue to work tirelessly and use the LOL Comedy Show as a way to not only raise money for the organization, but also to spend time laughing and connect with other community members.
