UL Hospitals Group is opening a pop-up Covid-19 vaccination clinic at Thurles Primary Care Center on Tuesday, September 27, and every Tuesday until further notice, where the public can book their vaccine appointments.
Vaccination appointments can be booked in the weekly pop-up clinic from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on opening day, September 27. Regular weekly hours from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. from the following Tuesday, October 4.

Anyone aged 12 and over who is ready to receive doses 1 and 2 of the Covid-19 vaccine or booster doses 1 and 2, including pregnant women over 16 weeks, can easily book an appointment via the site. Those who are eligible for vaccination can also book their doses 1 and 2 and their booster doses at vaccination centers at Nenagh Hospital, Ennis Hospital and Scoil Carmel in Limerick City.

With the significant increase in the number of people eligible for the booster vaccine, participating GPs and pharmacists are also providing booster doses of the vaccine to eligible groups, in line with the latest advice from the National Immunization Advisory Committee (NIAC).
