OLD LYME — Ledge Light Health District, in conjunction with the Old Lyme Visiting Nurse Association, has scheduled a Covid-19 vaccination clinic offering the Moderna vaccine on May 4, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Only the Moderna vaccine will be available at this clinic for people 18 years and older who need a 1st or 2nd dose (primary series) or who are eligible for a 1st or 2nd booster dose.
The following groups are eligible for a 1st reminder in this clinic:
- people 18 years and older who have completed a primary series of a COVID-19 mRNA vaccine (Moderna or Pfizer) and it has been at least 5 months since the end of the primary series
- people 18 years and older who have received a first dose of the Janssen COVID-19 vaccine and it’s been at least 2 months and want an mRNA booster
The following groups are eligible for a 2n/a reminder in this clinic:
- people aged 50 and over who have received a first booster dose of any authorized or approved COVID-19 vaccine, and it has been at least 4 months since the first booster dose
The clinic is free and open to the public. No appointment, insurance or ID is needed, but you are asked toring your CDC vaccination card.
