TOMPKINS COUNTY, NY—The Tompkins County Health Department is hosting a COVID-19 Moderna booster vaccination clinic from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 19 on the Commons at the Bernie Milton Pavilion as part of the Southside Community Center Juneteenth Celebration Health Fair.

The Moderna vaccine will be available as a first booster for anyone 18 years of age and older who received the Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTech initial series at least five months prior or the Johnson & Johnson vaccine at least two months prior, or as a second booster for eligible people.

Adults aged 50 and over can receive a second booster if they wish at least four months after the first booster dose, and adults aged 18 to 49 who received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine both as a primary dose and as a booster dose may receive a second booster at least four months after their first dose. previous booster dose.
